Tim Tusa is an amazing realtor and exceeded our expectations. We first met Tim when renting one of his homes in Pacific Beach. He was very dependable, knowledgeable, and professional as a landlord, so we asked him to be our realtor. My wife and I are both healthcare providers and have limited knowledge about the real estate industry. Being first time home buyers, we really had no idea what we were getting ourselves into.
Tim was extremely informative, making the process fun and enjoyable. He really listened to our needs and desires; and wholeheartedly sought to find us the best house. His advice was meaningful and appropriate and guided us towards good decision-making. We ended up buying a house near the beautiful Sunset Cliffs area. Initially we overlooked the house because of the layout, but Tim suggested we look at it anyways and happened to have the keys to the house when looking at a house a block a way. Tim opened our eyes to a remodeling idea that changed our perspective. He was right. We love our house and it’s perfect for us! Thanks to Tim, we did have a great time buying a house but it did not come without a couple of bumps in the road that deserve mentioning. The lender we chose took an extraordinary amount of time to process our loan, which almost compromised the sale. This was no fault of Tim’s as we decided to go through our local bank where we have an account and this bank really dropped the ball (we won’t mention any names but it was very frustrating).
Fortunately though, while we were out of the county on a vacation and things were not going well with the loan, Tim talked to the seller each day to keep things calm. He escalated our loan to the top levels of Senior Management at our bank to ensure the loan went through without any repercussions for us. If it were not for Timâ’s vast knowledge of dealing with banks and lenders we would have lost our house! He was invaluable to us and for that we can’t thank him enough. Tim Tusa is trustworthy, honest, hardworking, and experienced. Most importantly, he really cares. We would highly recommend him to all our friends and family!
